Both transport managers hold ‘Certificates of Professional Competence’, so we know ‘transport’, and all things pertaining. We specialise in the movement of power and sailboats, within the U.K., France, Spain and Portugal. We hold insurance transacted through Davis Specialist Risks Ltd for U.K and European boat transport to F.T.A. Conditions of Carriage 2002, as amended, whilst within the U.K., and C.M.R. Convention in Europe.
Our modern vehicles all have full European Breakdown Cover so they do not get stranded,with a clients’ boat on the back.
In the U.K. and Europe any road movement with a beam of over 2.5m moves into the realms of ‘wide loads’, and as such attracts the interest of the ‘State’, to ensure those engaged in it have the skills required for the safety of all.
We are fully compliant, experienced and equipped to move wide loads within the U.K., and Europe. We hold French ‘Transports exceptionnels de 1eme / 2eme categorie’ issued by the Ministere de l’Equipement des Transports, et du Logement.
We are fully compliant within the Basque and Navarro regions and Portugal.In National Spain we hold ‘Transportes Especials’ permits issued by Jefatura de Traffico, Ministerio del Interior.
